How do I know what to add to the different parts of a Business Model Canvas?

To create a Business Model Canvas for your idea, you will make your best guesses (hypotheses) as to how your business or organization will work. You will then become an entrepreneurial scientist and test those guesses by talking with potential customers.

Using the information gained during these conversations, you’ll then revise your Business Model Canvas, often many times, to reflect your increasingly better understanding of your business’s or organization’s role.

It can be helpful to use sticky notes instead of writing directly on your Business Model Canvas, as your hypotheses will probably change many times.

The Business Model Canvas is a set of boxes that capture most of the important information about your business or organization on one page.
